The WeatherSense 9001® is a home-brew weather station built on the Elecrow CrowPanel HMI platform. The CrowPanel features a 7.0″ capacitive touch display with a built-in ESP32-S3 module. The project code, written in the Arduino-ESP32 IDE, reads and displays temperature, humidity and barometric pressure data from multiple SensorPush environmental sensors via the API.
Barometric pressure data is graphed every 30 minutes for the last 18 hours on a second display page, triggered by tapping the main screen.
The sensor readings are written to ThingSpeak, and online analytics platform for logging and graphing historical IoT data.
The CrowPanel 7.0″ has available a low-cost acrylic case which protects the screen while providing a squared off profile and threaded inserts for mounting to the wall or bracket via 3D-printed parts.
